Job description

At SEAMS, we help organizations unlock the full value of their data. As a Medior Data Engineer, you'll work directly with our clients to design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, AI, and business intelligence initiatives., You'll be responsible for creating the data foundations that power insights. Working with cross-functional teams, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Ensure data is clean, reliable, and accessible for reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate data from various systems (APIs, databases, flat files, cloud services).
  • Support data modeling and warehouse design (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and client stakeholders.
  • Optimize data workflows for scalability and performance.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Talend?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar).

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong command of SQL and Python (for data manipulation and automation).
  • Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Airflow, dbt, Talend, MS Fabric, Azure Data Factory…).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and data modeling.
  • Familiar with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.

  • Strong sense of ownership and quality.

Languages

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch or French (working knowledge of the other is an advantage)., * Master's (Preferred), * Digital Transformation: 3 years (Required)
