Job description
As Certified Technical Architect, you are responsible for analysing and translating business information and technical requirements into architectural blueprints, proposing solutions to achieve complex business objectives, provides guidance on, assists in establishing, and participates in technical governance processes, collaborates on the design and implementation of a platform operating model that improves likelihood of successful go-lives and end-user adoption., Architecture & Design Leadership
- Define Platform Architecture: Own the end-to-end technical architecture for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring the solution is scalable, maintainable, secure, and performs optimally across all implemented and planned modules.
- Solution Design: Lead the design and development of High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for complex ServiceNow implementations, including multi-instance, global, or highly integrated environments.
- Strategic Alignment: Translate strategic business objectives and technology requirements into concrete, actionable architectural blueprints for the ServiceNow platform.
- Module Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of multiple ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, SecOps) to design cross-functional solutions and ensure proper data model alignment (e.g., CSDM).
Technical Governance and Assurance
- Establish Governance: Define, implement, and lead the technical governance processes (e.g., Design Authority Board) to review and approve all major platform changes, custom application development, and technical designs.
- Best Practices: Enforce ServiceNow best practices, design standards, and development guidelines to minimize technical debt and ensure the "Now Platform" remains evergreen.
- Risk Management: Conduct technical risk assessments and provide architectural assurance for complex projects, ensuring compliance with security protocols, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
Integration and Data Strategy
- Integration Framework: Design and govern secure, high-performance integration patterns (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub) between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications, cloud services, and third-party systems.
- Data Architecture: Lead the definition and governance of the ServiceNow data model, including the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Service Data Model (CSDM), ensuring data integrity and quality.
Leadership, Mentorship, and Stakeholder Engagement
- Technical Authority: Act as the ultimate technical escalation point, resolving complex architectural, performance, and security challenges.
- Mentorship: Coach, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Solution Architects, Developers, and Implementation teams, fostering technical excellence within the practice.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical strategies, architectural decisions, and platform roadmaps to a variety of audiences, including C-suite executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
Sales & Pre-Sales Activities
- Supports pre-sales activities including scoping, compilation of estimates and generation of statement of work documents
Requirements
Do you have experience in ServiceNow?, * Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow solution design, development, and implementation, with at least 3-5 years acting as a Platform or Enterprise Architect.

Platform Mastery: In-depth, demonstrated expertise across the core ServiceNow platform and multiple major application suites (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).

Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in platform security (ACLs, encryption), scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), data modelling, and integration frameworks. Recent experience with platform components such as flow designer, NOW Experience, Service Portal, ATF, and Integration Hub with addition of NowAssist and NowCreate.

Enterprise Experience: Proven track record of architecting and leading large-scale, complex, and global ServiceNow deployments. Preferred

Additional Certifications: Certified Application Developer (CAD), multiple Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, ITOM).

Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and ITIL processes. Delivery Methodologies: Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies for platform development and release management.

Language: Fluent English & Dutch, and nice to have any other European language.
