Manual Tester

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Manual Tester to join our UniQue team in Brussels.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Definition of test plans and test cases
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts
• Execution of tests
• Test coordination
• Reporting of test results
• Design, prepare and perform end-to-end tests (mixing automated and manual tests).
• Design, prepare and perform system integration testing (mixing automated and manual tests).
• Investigate bugs to find root causes in a complex web of applications, test and validate bug fixes.
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developer

Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, Do you have a Master's degree?, What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor's degree & 17 years of experience in IT or Master's degree & 13 years of experience.
• ISTQB certification or similar is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in the manual Testing.
• Knowledge of a Test Management Tools (preferably Zephyr)
• Acquaintance with a Defect Tracking tool (preferably Jira).
• Understanding of the test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases (Oracle).
• Familiarity with agile methodology (Scrum).
• Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
• Skilled in Business Process Modelling.
• Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2 level.
