Job description
- An IT professional with strong banking experience responsible for capturing and modeling data requirements. data definitions, business rules, data quality requirements, and logical data models.
- Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy
- Development, coordination, and implementation of principles, best practices, guidelines, and standards for Common Data Model and its consistency
- Work with the development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and support development of conceptual data model
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, * At least five years of professional experience with physical and relational data modeling
- Experience in stakeholder management in heterogeneous business/technology organizations
- Experience in banking or financial business, with handling sensitive data across regions
- Performing reverse engineering of physical data models. Evaluating already existing data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies
- Hands-on experience with visual Data Transformation / Modeling tools (Alteryx, Dataiku, Tableau prep, Hackolade, Erwin)
- Experience working with metadata management and related tools (e.g. Collibra), * Knowledge of reference architectures, especially concerning integrated, data-driven landscapes and solutions
- Solid knowledge of Banking data products / financial sector, financial data classification / sensitivity
- Expert SQL skills, preferably in mixed environments (i.e. classic DWH and distributed)
- Understanding and translating business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions
- Applying a data quality framework within the architecture
- Track record in Agile project management and methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
- Good knowledge of German is beneficial, excellent command of English is essential
- Higher education (e.g. "Fachhochschule","Wirtschaftsinformatik")
