Job description
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer / Manager to lead IT operations in Switzerland. The role covers IT infrastructure management, team leadership, and support for both IT and OT/ICS environments within an industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, and security).
- Lead and mentor IT teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and project delivery.
- Support OT/ICS environments and industrial protocols.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and business units.
- Manage vendors, budgets, and service contracts.
- Develop IT strategies, policies, and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VMware?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 12+ years' IT infrastructure experience, with at least 3 years in management.
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Certifications (preferred): CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VMware, ITIL, CISSP/CISM.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in German and English (C2 level).
