Job description

We are currently seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Principal Statistical Programmer at ICON, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of statistical programming solutions that support clinical trials and regulatory submissions. Your expertise in statistical methodologies and programming will be crucial in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of clinical data analysis. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Leading the development and validation of statistical programs for data analysis and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with biostatisticians and clinical teams to define project requirements and ensure alignment with study objectives.
  • Overseeing the creation of programming specifications, documentation, and technical reports for regulatory submissions.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior statistical programmers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
  • Staying current with industry trends and advancements in statistical programming to drive innovation and enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Significant experience in statistical programming, particularly in the context of clinical trials and regulatory submissions.
  • Must have expertise in SAS and R programming, with proficiency in statistical analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration across teams and with stakeholders.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all programming activities.
