Job description
The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for an Architect to join us in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role, you will work at the customer site as a subject-matter expert in Red Hat infrastructure and cloud technology. You'll answer questions about best practices around reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups, as well as lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat's technology that delivers freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance. As an Architect, you will gain an understanding of our customers' infrastructure and business issues and make recommendations appropriate to their environment. - Serve as a customer advocate, designing the right solutions and ensuring that they are implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way
- Deliver successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium teams of both technical and non-technical backgrounds that shape and inspire customer use cases and architecture design decisions
- Scope delivery projects and guide customers through successful pilot and production deployments
- Design, create, and deliver content that will enable the broader Red Hat organization to sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions at scale
- Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat's services capabilities, promote repeated customer engagements, and lower delivery risks

Requirements
Do you have experience in Project management?, * Prior experience working in a consulting role; ability to deliver in one-on-one assignments
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies on a delivery level
- Experience implementing virtualization technologies in an enterprise setting and with enterprise-wide deployments
- Knowledge of infrastructure (Red Hat OpenShift) and automation solutions (Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform)
- Good customer-facing skills; ability to present to customers and guide customer interactions
- Understanding of the open source community
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
- Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is a plus
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the ability to get it within a few weeks of the start date, is a plus
- Willing to travel to customers within Switzerland and occasionally EMEA wide
- Fluency in English and German language
