DevOps Software Engineer (Java)

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with solid experience in deploying and managing Java/Spring Boot web applications to join our team in Lugano. This role is perfect for someone passionate about automation, continuous delivery, and reliable deployments.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment lifecycle of Java/Spring Boot applications
• Oversee and manage deployments to production, ensuring stability and rollback readiness
• Monitor system and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools, proactively addressing issues before they impact users
• Support and maintain containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) for Java/Spring Boot microservices
• Collaborate closely with development teams to align deployment processes with software design and integration needs
• Investigate and troubleshoot runtime or deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments, * We do not offer a fully remote work policy
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.)
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy

Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

• Proven experience deploying and maintaining Java/Spring Boot applications in CI/CD environments
• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot development is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems and Unix shell scripting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to deployment reliability and production stability

Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
