Job description
- Configure, test, roll out and automate cloud-based Linux systems with Terraform and Puppet
- Ensure a secure, reliable, performant and cost-optimised infrastructure
- Find the best cloud location and network connection worldwide
- Manage secured network
- Manage system backups and recovery
- Perform smart monitoring, to avoid system downtimes and apply continuous improvement and continuous availability processes
Requirements

Degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

Strong Linux system administration skills

Experience in configuring, deploying, and running virtualized infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS preferred)

Hands-on experience working with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Puppet, Ansible and Terraform

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab

Experience with monitoring tools Prometheus, Grafana and ELK

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Highly proactive and independent, with a teamwork spirit as well

Fluency in English (written and spoken)

English: C1 - Advanced
Nice-to-Haves
- 3+ years in a Linux system administration role
- Proficiency with programming/scripting languages (Python, Shell...)
- Network administration skills
- Application virtualization technologies knowledge
- Any additional language, in particular German, is an asset
