Associate Director of Procurement - Data Analytics & AI

We are committed to creating an environment where every team member feels included, respected, empowered and recognised., The Associate Director of Procurement - Data Analytics & AI is responsible to lead the development and execution of our data-driven strategy within the procurement function. This role will be pivotal in transforming fragmented data sources into actionable insights, leveraging advanced analytics, AI, and delivering user-friendly self-service tools., * Drive global data analytics, AI strategy and vision for Procurement

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve data visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Procurement, IT, Finance, Continuous Improvement, PMO and business units
• Conceptualize, design, implement, processes driving Procurement strategy and manage change management across systems that support such processes
• Oversee the design and implementation of ETL pipelines and data models using tools like SQL, Snowflake, and Python
• Develop and maintain scalable analytics solutions that support procurement KPIs and reporting
• Apply machine learning techniques to identify cost-saving opportunities, forecast financial performance, optimize supplier financial performance
• Champion the use of AI tools to automate and enhance procurement processes
• Lead the development of user-facing tools and dashboards using PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, and frameworks such as Yii2+ and Laravel
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and product roadmaps
• Manage delivery timeline of Procurement tech enablers
• Manage and mentor a global team of data analysts, engineers, and developers

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, product management and AI within a corporate environment
• Strong proficiency in Programming & Analytics: Python, Pandas, NumPy
• Strong proficiency in AI & ML Tools: Scikit-learn, machine learning algorithms
• Strong proficiency in Data Engineering: SQL, ETL, Snowflake, data modelling
• Strong proficiency in Web Development: PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Yii2+, Laravel
• Proven record of managing cross-functional and offshore teams
• Experience in procurement or supply chain analytics is a strong plus
• Fluency in English
