Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Sustainable Journeys

Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. • Work with a team dedicated to sustainability in Real World Journeys.
• Work across multiple products and components, and with multiple levels of the stack. Most backends/pipelines are written in C++/Java.
• Contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines responsible for ingesting and processing data.

Experience completing work as directed, and collaborating with teammates; developing knowledge of relevant concepts and processes., * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Javascript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ code bases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent., * Experience with both rapid prototyping and experimentation as well as growing scalable products after product-market-fit.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team with PM, UX, UXR, gTech, and BD.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
• Knowledge of Aviation Industry/GHG Reporting.
