As a Platform Manager, you combine technical understanding, strategic thinking, and entrepreneurial action. You take overall responsibility for a defined asset and platform portfolio and ensure that it is operated economically, functionally, and qualitatively at the highest level and continuously further developed.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the assigned asset portfolio in financial, qualitative, and functional terms regarding strategy, conception, and integration into the Axpo Systems system landscape
  • Ensuring complete life cycle management and continuous development of the portfolio including IT security compliance
  • Conducting procurement, contract negotiations, and supplier management
  • Development and preparation of relevant asset data for inventory reporting as well as their representation in the OSS-BSS systems and financial tools
  • Definition and implementation of measures to optimize operating, maintenance, and preservation costs (including maintenance contracts and licenses)
  • Participation in strategic business development, support in tenders, and development of strategic initiatives
  • Collaboration in the preparation and calculation of offers

Requirements

  • Higher technical education in telecommunications or computer science
  • Further education in business administration (e.g., eMBA or comparable qualification)
  • Solid knowledge of telecommunications and/or ICT systems
  • Experience in platform, product, or asset management
  • Knowledge of network architecture, life cycle management, and basic understanding of network security
  • Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
  • Analytical and networked thinking with high personal responsibility
  • Team-oriented, communicative personality with a structured working style
