Job description
- Connect & process data sources: From requirement analysis through design and implementation to quality assurance and operation, you keep all phases in view.
- Implement data pipelines: You implement data pipelines, data ingest, and data processing.
- Develop analytics platforms: You develop container-based analytics platforms and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Drive innovations: You understand how to grasp customer needs and requirements and prepare them technically.
- Further develop solutions: You support customers in optimizing existing data solutions
Requirements
- Background: Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, statistics, mathematics, or another analytical field.
- Certifications advantageous: Snowflake SnowProCode or SnowProAssociate, as well as relevant certifications for data platform solutions (e.g., Databricks, MS Fabric) and certifications from cloud providers (AWS / Azure).
- Data platform knowledge: You have experience in data platform projects, ideally with Snowflake, and master data platform concepts (DWH/Data Lake/Datalakehouse and Data Mesh) and modeling with Data Vault 2.0 or classic modeling patterns like Snowflake and Star.
- Cloud expertise: You bring experience in cloud data platforms and a cloud hyperscaler such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and have basic knowledge of cloud infrastructure (VPC, IAM, etc.); you are also familiar with IaC, e.g., with Terraform.
- ETL/ELT methodology: You effortlessly develop batch and streaming data pipelines with a strong focus on robustness and data quality and have a comprehensive market overview of common integration tools like dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Talend, and Informatica, while also possessing knowledge in one of these languages: SQL, Python, Java, Scala, or Spark.
- Languages: Very good German and good English skills; French is an advantage
