Key Facts: SAP Finance & non SAP Applications, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, SAP FI/CO, SAP P2P & R2R, AI initiatives, VIM Solutions, Project management, in Baden/home office.
Main tasks:

Application Ownership for Non-ERP Tools: Oversee the full lifecycle management of finance applications, with a primary focus on APOC (Accounts Payables on Cloud) and additional tools in accounting, controlling, tax, and treasury. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance application functionality based on evolving business requirements. Ensure application stability, performance, and security while proactively mitigating potential risks.

User Support & Issue Resolution: Provide end-user support and resolve technical and functional issues to maintain a seamless user experience. Troubleshoot interface issues with SAP ERP and coordinate closely with SAP CPI and SAP FI-CO technical teams. Manage issue resolution across internal IT departments and external vendors, addressing infrastructure, security, and connectivity challenges efficiently.

Project Management for Finance Applications: Lead end-to-end project management for finance-related IS initiatives involving SAP ERP and non-SAP systems. Oversee the implementation of new solutions, modules, and functionalities, ensuring smooth integration and optimal performance. Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business goals. Coordinate technical teams and gather requirements from finance stakeholders to ensure alignment with operational needs.

Automation and AI Leadership: Drive automation and AI initiatives to optimize financial processes. Collaborate with finance business partners to identify, design, and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors to ensure contract compliance and service quality. Act as the key liaison between IT and finance stakeholders, ensuring that application capabilities meet business expectations and strategic objectives.
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Several years of professional IT experience, including project management and application ownership within finance domains

Proven expertise in leading projects involving SAP ERP and integrated non-ERP finance applications

Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, especially Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R)

Practical experience implementing and managing Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA

Experience driving automation and AI projects to improve finance process efficiency

Solid technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC, with hands-on troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and multiple priorities simultaneously

Deep knowledge of finance-related software, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing technical and operational challenges

Understanding of security, compliance, and risk management aspects of finance applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating in cross-functional, international teams
