Job description
- Build, enhance, and operate a GenAI solution for UBS within an Azure environment
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep / ARM)
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and AKS
- Create automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to streamline operational processes
- Collaborate closely with Java development teams and support build, deployment, and release workflows
- Ensure adherence to cloud security standards, including RBAC, policies, and network architecture
- Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization in Azure environments
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and architectural decision-making
Requirements
For our client in the banking sector located in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer for a GenAI Project., * 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on CI/CD
- Deep expertise in Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts) for end-to-end software development lifecycle management
- Proven hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Azure Bicep/ARM templates
- Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Solid experience with Git, including branching strategies
- 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience, ideally with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security best practices (RBAC, Azure Policy), and Azure database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400) are a plus
- Fluent in English
