Job description
- Define end-to-end architecture for ADAS and automated driving systems, including sensors, perception, fusion, decision, and control.
- Translate performance and functional requirements into detailed system and software architecture.
- Evaluate and integrate sensor technologies such as camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic, and GPS/IMU.
- Drive real-time embedded software and middleware development ensuring system integration.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, and ISO/SAE 21434 standards.
- Collaborate with AI/ML, hardware, software, and validation teams on perception and sensor fusion.
- Perform trade-off analysis across safety, performance, cost, and power.
- Lead system validation (MIL, SIL, HIL, vehicle testing) and mentor ADAS engineers.
Requirements
- Around 10 years in automotive software engineering with experience in ADAS or autonomous systems.
- Strong background in electrical, automotive, or computer engineering.
- Expertise in ADAS functions (ACC, Lane Keep Assist, Automated Parking, Highway Pilot).
- In-depth knowledge of sensor technologies (camera, radar, LiDAR, ultrasonic).
- Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR (Classic and Adaptive), embedded systems, and middleware.
- Proven track record in functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434).
- Proficiency with model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink) and requirements tools (DOORS, Polarion).
- Leadership experience in multi-site or cross-functional engineering teams.
