Software Architect

From our office in Erlangen and sometimes at our clients' premises you like to keep yourself busy with:

• Preparing offers and feasibility studies for projects in close cooperation with the project manager, the account manager and customer.
• Collaborating with project managers to define the project organization, estimate project timeliness, identify risks and related mitigation strategies
• Leading the architectural design and development of software systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality and reliability requirements
• Developing and supporting the deployment of training programs through individual coaching, training, and supervising colleagues during their assignments
• Providing technical guidance and leadership to project teams and development processes
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and advancements high-tech systems and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within projects and related teams, * Flexible 40-hour working week, with room to work from home.

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.

• You have gained more than 10 years of experience with technical software development in various roles and in various (product) environments and/or projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and C# for different operating systems, including state machines and real-time aspects.
• You have extensive experience with various modern development methods, tools, and technologies (OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, etc.) and use these to set up appropriate development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex software and process-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• You are used to working in a dynamic environment with fast-changing priorities, parallel projects, and various stakeholders with probably conflicting interests.
• Good communication skills, easy to present technical information to technical and non-technical partners.
• Willingness to travel 10% worldwide
