Job description
As a Junior Information Security Officer (m/f/d), you will play a critical role in supporting Jedox's information security operations. You'll contribute to maintaining and improving our compliance with international standards, assist in responding to customer and prospect security inquiries, and work across teams to uphold the integrity of our systems and services. * Support security operations: Assist with regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing coordination and audit readiness activities
- Maintain and enhance compliance frameworks: Contribute to the upkeep of Jedox's ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001 management systems and support ongoing alignment with SOC 2, GDPR, and other international standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with the Value Desk, Sales, Legal, and Product teams to respond to RFPs, security questionnaires, and due diligence requests, while promoting security awareness and best practices internally
- Document and monitor controls: Maintain records of risk assessments, incidents, and security control implementations, and help manage external security ratings and trust portals (e.g., UpGuard, BitSight)
- Stay ahead of threats: Monitor emerging cybersecurity risks, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
Do you have experience in Risk management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Industry certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation, etc.).
- Familiarity with key information security and quality standards/frameworks: ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SOC 2, and the CSA STAR Level 2
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and cloud security.
- Experience or familiarity with security platforms such as Bugcrowd, UpGuard, BitSight, and Microsoft Azure Security Center.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing a career in information security.
