Job description

  • You design and implement our managed Kubernetes Service, focusing on Gardener and Kubernetes Networking
  • You take responsibility for the surrounding system landscape (e.g., Compute, Networking, Storage, APIs)
  • You conceptualize and implement networking solutions for our platform, primarily using Kubernetes Controllers and Go
  • You design scalable software architectures to continuously improve our service
  • You analyze complex problems, perform root-cause analysis, and identify lasting solutions

Requirements

  • You are passionate about new technologies related to Kubernetes, Linux, and Networking
  • You have advanced programming experience, preferably in Go
  • You have experience in the design and operation of distributed systems and with Software-Defined Networking (e.g., Istio, Calico, and Cilium)
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience with the Kubernetes Operator Pattern, CI/CD tooling (e.g., Prow, Flux), and eBPF
  • Your English, ideally combined with German, is the basis for successful communication in international, agile teams
