Job description
We are seeking a Data Automation Engineer (d/f/m) to join our global Architecture & Technology team. This role is critical to advancing our Common Data Platform (CDP) beyond harmonizing the data estate, enabling the next level of automation and agentic capabilities to solve challenging business use cases., * Design, implement, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and ADLS
- Apply automation to streamline and scale recurring data engineering tasks across the CDP
- Develop reporting and visualization solutions using Power BI (or similar tools) to support adoption and transparency
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automated, value-creating solutions
- Work with Data Architects to ensure automation aligns with standards, governance, and platform strategy
- Apply strong data modelling skills to ensure consistency, quality, and reusability of data across the platform
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies and best practices in data, automation, and AI to drive platform evolution
- Explore and leverage the latest capabilities of Azure AI Foundry and Databricks Agent Bricks to enable intelligent, agentic orchestration, * Health and Safety -Highest standards and a wide range of health promotion and healthcare activities

Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong engineering skills with curiosity for understanding business requirements and passion for leveraging the latest advances in Microsoft Azure and Databricks technology. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering, automation, and cutting-edge AI., * Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, automation, or applied analytics
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, Data Factory, SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Strong understanding of data pipeline automation, CI/CD for data, and orchestration frameworks
- Proven capability in data modelling and building reusable, scalable data structures
- Interest in linking business requirements to technical solutions and measuring tangible outcomes
- Strong team player - collaborates effectively across global and cross-functional teams, contributing to collective success
- Ownership and getting-things-done mindset - takes initiative, drives work independently, and delivers results reliably in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Azure Foundry and emerging tools such as Databricks Agent Bricks is a plus
- Curiosity for agentic AI capabilities and how they can enhance automation in enterprise environments
