Drawing on the experience of thousands of projects and tens of thousands of installations, we are developing the next generation of Kardex warehouse management software at our Rülzheim location. We are looking for you as Manager Software & Controls Test (m/f/d) to lead our testing team in Rülzheim.

Your tasks

  • You lead the testing department both technically and disciplinarily, with full accountability for results and strategic direction.
  • You manage budgets and plan resources efficiently
  • You drive the optimization of testing methods, automation, and processes to boost efficiency and standardization
  • You develop and implement a cross-functional testing strategy for mechanical, electronic, and software-based components-including their integration
  • You shape and strengthen a value-driven team culture built on openness, collaboration, and motivation

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test automation?, * You bring several years of proven experience leading testing teams (5-10 people) in a technically driven development environment

  • You hold a technical degree-ideally in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering-or a comparable qualification
  • You have deep expertise in testing methodologies, test automation, and quality assurance across the entire product lifecycle
  • You communicate confidently and effectively, with strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners
  • You think and act entrepreneurially, with a sharp focus on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
  • Very important is your business proficiency in German and English
