Job description
As a Data Engineer, you will play a key part in understanding, structuring, and scaling the data that powers the world's second-largest ticketing and live entertainment company. You'll ensure that critical data is organized, reliable, and accessible to a wide range of consumers. As part of a newly reorganized team committed to agile principles and modern best practices, you'll help shape the future of data at Eventim., * Design, develop, and maintain Eventim's modern Data Analytics Platform to power insights across the organization and for our partners.
- Build and optimize pipelines using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability for business-critical workflows.
- Ensure that data needs across Adtech, CRM, Controlling, external partners, and new business initiatives are consistently met.
- Drive transparency and trust in data pipelines by capturing and validating metadata, and by producing clear, accessible documentation for diverse data consumers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analytics solutions that enable smarter, data-driven decisions at Eventim.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Google Cloud Platform?, * A degree on technology field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of data modeling approaches (Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema, One Big Table, 3NF) and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Hands-on experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses, ideally BigQuery and related GCP services.
- Solid knowledge of Data Governance practices, including GDPR, Data Quality Processes, and secure Data Sharing.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in agile, cross-functional environments.
- Full responsibility for outputs and outcomes.
- Independently analyzes multi-dimensional topics and adjusts priorities and be able to break down complexity into actionable steps.
