Job description

The AI DevOps Portfolio Owner is responsible for defining, steering, and continuously evolving the AI DevOps Portfolio strategy in close alignment with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and related portfolios such as Automation and Analytics. This role ensures the establishment of scalable, agile DevOps teams that deliver high-value AI services and solutions. The individual will guide and empower Product Owners within the portfolio to drive end-to-end service excellence, operational stability, and continuous innovation., * Own and shape the AI DevOps Portfolio strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise IT vision.

  • Collaborate closely with Business stakeholders, Automation, Analytics, and other IT portfolios to ensure strategic coherence and synergy across initiatives.
  • Define and manage the portfolio roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, and technological innovation.

Leadership & Delivery Enablement

  • Support and mentor Product Owners to build high-performing, holistic, and scalable agile DevOps teams.
  • Drive the implementation of DevOps principles and best practices across AI service delivery teams, ensuring continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establish clear KPIs and success metrics for AI DevOps service performance, reliability, and maturity.

Service & Team Management

  • Own the delivery and lifecycle management of AI DevOps services, ensuring operational excellence, resilience, and scalability.
  • Lead the evolution of AI DevOps capabilities, including tooling, automation, infrastructure strategy, and service governance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within IT delivery teams.

Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Act as the central communication link between IT teams, business units, and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate business demands into actionable technical direction and communicate portfolio status, risks, and achievements clearly.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparency in delivery timelines, value realization, and resource allocation.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SAFe?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline.

  • 5+ years in IT service management, DevOps, or platform engineering roles, with experience in AI/ML environments.
  • Background in IT consulting or technology strategyis highly desirable.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, SAFe, CKA, or DevOps/Cloud certifications are a strong plus.
  • Professional German & English skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning diverse stakeholder groups behind a common vision.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant outcomes.
  • Inspirational leadership style with a strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop Product Owners and cross-functional IT teams.
