Job description

  • Deploying software releases across various environments, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal downtime.
  • Maintaining and adapting the DevOps toolchain, including tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD, GitLab for version control, and Nexus or Artifactory for artifact management.
  • Developing small scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. These may be written in Bash, Python, or PowerShell, depending on the environment.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for deployment processes, tool configurations, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
  • Troubleshooting software issues in collaboration with development and operations teams, using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and log analysis., * An environment in which you can constantly develop yourself. Requirements

  • A solid foundation in IT, with basic scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Initial experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, or Kubernetes, and a willingness to deepen this knowledge.
  • Basic Linux skills, including familiarity with the command line, file system navigation, and basic system administration tasks.
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate in an international team environment.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the project for a client in the defense industry, strict security regulations apply. Access is limited exclusively to project team members who are citizens of Germany, France, or Spain. Additionally, candidates must undergo a security screening in accordance with §7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG), including the successful acquisition of level Ü2 security clearance.
