Job description
As a Solution Architect, you will design and guide the implementation of technology solutions that align with customer business requirements, ensuring they are compatible and scalable within existing FIS systems and architecture. You will collaborate with all members of your team, customers and stakeholders while lead teams defining solutions and overseeing initiatives from conception through to delivery.
About the team:
The Domain and Solution Architect Team sits within the Client Delivery organisation and is responsible for architecting and designing technical solutions. The Team is involved in a wide range of activities that include architecting complex client change and enhancements, client onboarding, internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out. Additionally, another important aspect of the Team's work is supporting pre-sales initiatives providing input to prospect RFI and RFPs.
What you will be doing:
- Define and extend functional and technical product architecture for Client solutions based on FIS or Client requirements.
- Define and maintain architecture principles and standards for FIS application development based on business requirements.
- Guide and consult with application development teams through the development process ensuring adherence to architectural and design principles.
- Resolve and propose solutions to complex design issues.
- Perform your duties in German and English.
- Work at client sites from time to time requiring some travel.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bachelor of Computer Science, * Willingness and ability to work with teams to design the solution for 'Full Stack'.
- Extensive background in finance domain (or) multiple domains with similar complexity.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills.
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take.
- Ability to estimate work effort for programs, projects and impact assessments and ensure the work is successfully completed.
- Positive outlook, ability to organise, strong work ethic and responsive to internal and external customers and contacts.
- Willingly and successfully fulfil the role of teacher, mentor and coach.
- Fluent command of written and spoken German and English.
