(Senior) Mobile App Engineer

As a Mobile App Engineer at GALVANY, you'll build and maintain mobile applications for our AI-based Operating System, providing on-the-go access for managing heat pumps and energy systems with a strong emphasis on design and user experience to bring the product vision to users in sales, installation, operations, and our Virtual Power Plant.

• Develop cross-platform apps with intuitive features for energy users and installers, using Flutter for efficient mobile development.
• Integrate with backend APIs and ensure app performance and security.
• Apply AI and LLMs to enhance app capabilities and explore the Gen AI landscape.

Tech Stack: Backend with GoLang; ML with Python, PyTorch, and LLMs; Frontend with React, Tailwind, and Shadcn; Mobile with Flutter; General tools including Azure, GitHub, Linear, Notion, Kafka, Benthos (data pipeline), n8n / Kestra (workflow engine), and low-code process automation platforms.

• Experience. 4+ years of experience in high-performance environments (e.g., top-tier consulting, fast-scaling startups, or similar).
• Track Record. Proven end-to-end responsibility in mobile app development. From ideation to release.
• Background. Strong background in relevant fields, e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Technical Skills. Strong coding skills with proficiency in Flutter/Dart, or similar mobile frameworks.
• Mindset. Self-driven problem-solving mindset - no need for micromanagement or specific tickets.
• Technical Aptitude. Technical mindset with a passion for understanding systems, data flows, and integrations, coupled with enthusiasm for continuous learning and problem solving.
• Language. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
