Job description
Release Planning & Coordination:
Define and manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and customer expectations.
Collaborate with hardware, software, systems engineering, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Monitor release readiness and manage dependencies across cross-functional teams.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Interface with OEMs (VW, MB, BMW, Stellantis), suppliers, and internal stakeholders to communicate release plans, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure transparency and traceability of release activities and decisions.
Agile Leadership:
Co-lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) with the Scrum Master.
Ensure sprint goals are aligned with release objectives and are consistently met.
Support backlog prioritization and sprint planning based on release timelines.
ASPICE Compliance & System Engineering:
Ensure release processes comply with ASPICE SYS.1, SYS.2, and SYS.3 standards.
Support system requirement traceability and validation throughout the release cycle.
Team Management:
Lead and coordinate a project team of 10+ engineers, ensuring effective communication, task ownership, and timely delivery.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Systems engineering?, Do you have a Master's degree?, We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Release Manager to lead the integration and delivery of complex automotive systems. This role involves coordinating across multiple engineering domains to ensure seamless release planning, execution, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with leading OEMs, deep knowledge of ASPICE processes, and excellent bilingual communication skills., * Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in automotive systems engineering or release management.
- Language: Fluent in German (C1 or above) and English - both are mandatory
- Experience with release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, IBM Rational).
- Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and AUTOSAR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
