What you will be doing:
- Designing & building ETL & AI utilities
- Designing & implementing data models for relational and graph databases
- Graph modelling, relationship extraction, querying
- Exploratory data analysis, prototyping, model evaluation
- Prompt design, vector store setup, inference service orchestration
- CI/CD & Automation: Docker build, image tagging, automated testing via "make"
- Creating detailed documentation of the solution
- Analyzing various documents in different formats to use as a source for the knowledge graph solution
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and data scientists in the team to design and build the solution.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Redis?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Several years of experience as Data Engineer & Data Scientist, building tailored pipelines and analyzing complex data sets for various use cases
- Excellent knowledge of Python
- Practical experience with local LLMs, including embedding engineering
- Ability to integrate LLM services (OpenAI, local LLMs) and vector stores
- Strong background in Airflow DAG development and orchestration, other ETL tools would be a plus
- Comfortable with Docker Compose and building custom images
- Very good hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL, Neo4j & Cypher, Redis, and Celery
- Familiar with Jupyter for rapid experimentation
- Proven track record of secure data handling (encryption, git-secret) and CI/CD pipeline setup
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent German and English, excellent written and verbal
- Master's degree in applied mathematics and computer science
What will be a plus:
- Practical experience (implemented use cases) with RAG
- Knowledge of various ETL/ELT tools like dbt, NiFi, Knime etc Practical experience with ML tools (real business use cases)
