Job description

Responsible for designing and optimizing advanced core network architectures (ground) to enable secure, resilient, and high-performance data exchange between ground and space., * Design core and backhaul networks (IP/MPLS cores, DWDM, Ethernet).

  • Define routing strategies, traffic engineering policies, and redundancy mechanisms.
  • Develop scalable architectures for hybrid environments (terrestrial, satellite, cloud, edge).
  • Integrate the core network with management and control functions.
  • Collaborate with ground systems engineers to embed network capabilities.
  • Optimize network performance (latency, bandwidth, link availability).
  • Coordinate subcontractors and oversee technical requirements.
  • Contribute to innovative R&D initiatives (AI-driven routing, quantum communication, SDN).

Requirements

Do you have experience in TCP/IP?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's or PhD in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering and application development
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, application layer services)
  • Experience developing end-to-end network applications in the communication sector
  • Familiarity with network simulation tools (e.g., ns-3, OPNET) and Linux-based systems
  • Understanding of cybersecurity in networks and secure communication protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities
  • Cisco or Juniper certifications a plus
