Job description
- End-to-End Product Management: Take full ownership of a product sub-domain, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Together with the Engineering counterparts form the leadership team for the domain.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, clearly communicating product visions, strategies, and updates.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Contribute to the creation and execution of product roadmaps, setting clear priorities and milestones.
- Agile Leadership and Team Guidance: Implement and refine agile methodologies within the development team to enhance productivity and delivery quality.
- Solution Design and Innovation: Drive the development of solutions that meet market needs and user expectations, staying ahead of industry trends and applying creative thinking to solve problems.
- Operational Excellence and Compliance: You participate in the proactive identification, management, and mitigation of risks and findings within your product domain, aligning with Solaris' compliance and policy standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner or a similar profession
- Familiar with the lifecycle of a bank account, creation of statements, garnishment / insolvency processes and open banking (PSD2)
- Experience in creating new products, dealing with complex code base and maintaining services
- Understanding of technical aspects of API, including the ability to work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and envision solution architectures.
- Experience in working with engineering teams and understand their mindset and language
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as customer support, marketing and legal to ensure a seamless and compliant integration of customer facing features.
- German language and banking / FinTech experience are a big plus.

Our Team:
You will join or Accounts team, focussed on building and improving the account product together with your development team. The team owns quite a bit of responsibility within our organization - owning for example everything around account opening and closing, bank statements, our open banking API as well as operational workflows around garnishments.
