Job description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our UX team. As a Working Student, you will collaborate closely with our UX Designer to enhance user experiences across our digital products. This role offers hands-on exposure to user research, interface design, and design system management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Your Day to Day:
- Assist in planning and conducting user research (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability tests).
- Document and analyze research findings to inform design decisions.
- Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes and other design artefacts.
- Support the evaluation of user interfaces with a focus on usability and accessibility.
- Help organize workshops and design thinking sessions.
- Maintain and update design system documentation and related resources.
Requirements

Currently enrolled in a degree program in UX Design, Visual/Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Basic understanding of UX research methods and usability testing.

Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, or AI-based design software.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Genuine interest in finance and financial technologies.

Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from a fast-paced UX team.

Strong command of English (C1); German language skills are a plus. What makes you excel in this position:

Experience with collaboration tools such as Miro, Confluence, and JIRA.

Solid foundation in layout, typography, color theory, and iconography.

Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes that clearly communicate design intent.

Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively.
