Job description
- You manage and coordinate SAP projects in a production environment (PP/QM) throughout the entire lifecycle - from initial preparation and fit/gap analysis to implementation, testing, go-live, and subsequent hypercare support.
- You design, implement, and document ABAP solutions (user exits, BAdIs, CDS/OData, RAP, forms, interfaces) to ensure a stable and transparent representation of our core processes.
- You will further develop our variant configuration (LO-VC, including MILL-specific logic) and thus contribute directly to improved planning and manufacturing.
- You optimize our production planning by integrating and fine-tuning MPS/ePPDS-including sequences, setup optimization, and capacities.
- Together with the MES team, you will drive forward MES integration (SAP add-ons, Wonderware, customized solutions) - from machine connectivity and feedback to quality data and traceability.
- You harmonize end-to-end processes across plants and locations and support international rollouts.
- You coach key users and establish best practices and standards throughout the company.
Requirements
- You have a completed degree or qualification in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
- You have several years of experience in SAP PP (focus) and SAP QM in a production environment.
- You are technically strong or can quickly and systematically acquire complex topics.
- You have ABAP expertise or demonstrate a clear drive to quickly advance to a senior level, combined with a structured and well-documented approach to your work.
- You work in a solution-oriented manner, keep an eye on the impact along the entire value chain, and implement measures with high quality standards.
- You are a strong communicator and act as a team player on an equal footing.
- Ideally, you will have experience in variant configuration, MPS/MES, ABAP development, and cross-interface and cross-module SAP expertise.
- It is advantageous if you have experience in managing international projects and rollouts.
Benefits & conditions
- Work in a dynamic, internationally successful family business with a strong team spirit, short decision-making processes, and an appreciative culture.
- Flexible working in a collegial IT team with close interaction with business colleagues, structured onboarding, mentoring, and room for independent creativity.
- A wide range of professional and personal development opportunities through our Teufelberger Academy, as well as the chance to obtain various certifications (e.g., SAP, ABAP, PP/DS, QM).
- Enjoy additional perks such as a voluntary commuting allowance, cafeteria, fitness room, home office, flexible working hours, company events, and good transport connections.
- Diverse, international work environment with modern IT equipment and up-to-date system landscape (e.g., S/4HANA 2023, Integration Suite).
- More than the collective agreement minimum salary, starting at €4,500 gross per month. The exact amount depends on your experience and qualifications.
