Job description
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer who is passionate, prepared to learn new skills, and can collaborate closely with Engineers and Data Scientists in implementing state-of-the-art algorithms. Your job will involve developing and deploying machine learning algorithms for production use. Challenges involve very large data sets and design constraints that may arise from, for example, latency requirements. Your work will directly impact end consumers in the form of personalizing shopping journeys and communications both in-store and online.
- Work as part of the Data Science and AI team to implement and deploy machine learning algorithms
- Design and implement systems architectures to serve models efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with data scientists to enable rapid iteration
- Harness cutting-edge ML tools and libraries to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Own ML engineering tasks and make progress independently
Requirements
Do you have experience in Spark?, * BSc in Computer Science or related subject or equivalent knowledge and experience
- 4+ years work experience as an engineer, writing code for production
- Experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms in production systems
- Python
- Spark
- SQL
- The tenacity to solve hard and diverse problems
- The interest and ability to quickly pick up new technologies and approaches
- Additionally of benefit are: knowledge of recommender systems, experience with real-time model deployment
