Job description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure: CI/CD team. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Cloud-Native CI/CD Development: Participate in building a modern, cloud-native, scalable, flexible, and extensible CI/CD solution for the entire Workato application ecosystem, focusing on optimized cost, health, stability, minimal build time, security, and compliance, with a reduced on-boarding time.
- Automation Improvements: Identify and drive opportunities to enhance automation for code integration, quality testing, security scanning, and deployment.
- CI/CD Solution Maintenance: Maintain and enhance the current CI/CD solution for Workato applications, emphasizing health, stability, and minimal build time, following a GitOps-like approach.
- Pipeline Implementation: Implement pipelines to automate security, reliability, and availability best practices at all stages of the software lifecycle.
- Complex Deployment Scenarios: Implement complex deployment scenarios, including dynamic environments, progressive rollouts such as canary deployments, and chaos engineering.
- Load Testing Infrastructure: Create and manage infrastructure for automating load test scenarios and streamlining their execution to catch performance regressions before production.
- Engineering Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to address needs, enable more effective and efficient developer throughput, and improve services through rigorous testing and release processes.
- On-boarding to CI/CD Platform: On-board Workato components and applications to the CI/CD platform.
- Metrics Analysis: Gather and analyze metrics from CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to assist in performance tuning and stability improvements.
- System Design and Architecture: Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and architecture reviews.
- Documentation and Best Practices: Document development processes and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Technical Specifications: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and help manage project priorities and timelines.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Web services?, * Kubernetes Expertise: Strong experience managing Kubernetes clusters and workloads, specifically using EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Go language is essential. Ability to program in other languages such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript is a plus.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience creating scalable development and integration pipelines using CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, GitLab CI, or similar solutions.
- Kubernetes Deployments: Expertise in deploying Kubernetes-based services using tools like Kustomize, Helm, ArgoCD, or similar, following a GitOps approach.
- Cloud Architectures: Hands-on experience with cloud-based architectures, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Networking and Web Services: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and web services architecture.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience managing complex infrastructure, including Kubernetes clusters, VPC networking, and security policies, using Infrastructure as Code tools like
