Job description
- Define SoC hardware architecture including compute, memory, IPs, interfaces, and security components.
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to align system architecture with functional and security goals.
- Develop and maintain hardware security models including threat analysis, TCB/RoT definition, and secure design practices.
- Drive implementation of secure boot, isolation, attestation, and data protection mechanisms.
- Lead technical reviews and support SoC integration and convergence efforts.
- Perform trade-off analysis on Power, Performance, Area, and Cost (PPAC).
- Evaluate emerging technologies, standards, and methodologies to improve SoC scalability.
- Partner closely with software, firmware, verification, and physical design teams to ensure system-level consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in SoC/IP architecture and design for ASIC or FPGA.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware security concepts: TEE, TCB, RoT, attestation, and secure boot.
- Familiarity with secure computing technologies: Intel SGX/TDX, AMD SEV, ARM TrustZone, RISC-V PMP/Keystone.
- Experience with cryptographic IPs and libraries (OpenSSL, mbedTLS, libsodium).
- Solid expertise with SoC system elements: clocks, resets, power domains, interconnects (AXI/CHI), and interfaces (PCIe, I2C, JTAG).
- Experience with RISC-V based SoCs and performance modeling tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to advanced packaging: 2.5D, 3D ICs, chiplets, CoWoS, SiP.
- Knowledge of hardware/software co-design principles.
- Understanding of virtualization, power management, and platform security.
- Hands-on experience with architecture modeling tools and simulation frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead architecture reviews and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
