Job description

  • Define SoC hardware architecture including compute, memory, IPs, interfaces, and security components.
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to align system architecture with functional and security goals.
  • Develop and maintain hardware security models including threat analysis, TCB/RoT definition, and secure design practices.
  • Drive implementation of secure boot, isolation, attestation, and data protection mechanisms.
  • Lead technical reviews and support SoC integration and convergence efforts.
  • Perform trade-off analysis on Power, Performance, Area, and Cost (PPAC).
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, standards, and methodologies to improve SoC scalability.
  • Partner closely with software, firmware, verification, and physical design teams to ensure system-level consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in SoC/IP architecture and design for ASIC or FPGA.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware security concepts: TEE, TCB, RoT, attestation, and secure boot.
  • Familiarity with secure computing technologies: Intel SGX/TDX, AMD SEV, ARM TrustZone, RISC-V PMP/Keystone.
  • Experience with cryptographic IPs and libraries (OpenSSL, mbedTLS, libsodium).
  • Solid expertise with SoC system elements: clocks, resets, power domains, interconnects (AXI/CHI), and interfaces (PCIe, I2C, JTAG).
  • Experience with RISC-V based SoCs and performance modeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to advanced packaging: 2.5D, 3D ICs, chiplets, CoWoS, SiP.
  • Knowledge of hardware/software co-design principles.
  • Understanding of virtualization, power management, and platform security.
  • Hands-on experience with architecture modeling tools and simulation frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead architecture reviews and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
