Join to apply for the Junior Data Engineer role at HiCareer HiCareer is supporting a remote-first SaaS scaleup (50+ employees across Europe) in hiring a Junior Data Engineer. The company builds a fast-growing project management platform used globally by tech, creative, and operations teams. Data is central to how the company makes decisions - from understanding product usage and customer retention to powering internal dashboards used by Product, Sales, and Customer Success. You'll join a small, collaborative data team working closely with engineers and analysts to improve the data stack and make insights more accessible across the organisation. What You'll Work On * Build and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt * Work with tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Airbyte for data transformation and integration * Support analytics and reporting for growth, product, and customer success teams * Help improve data reliability, documentation, and monitoring * Collaborate on

Requirements

automation projects using Zapier and Notion API to streamline reporting First 6 Months * Take ownership of key product data pipelines * Optimise ETL processes and automate manual reports * Build internal dashboards in Looker Studio or Metabase * Collaborate with Product and Growth to measure feature adoption and retention metrics What They're Looking For * 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field * Strong SQL skills and a basic understanding of data modelling * Some experience with Python (Pandas, Airflow, or similar frameworks) * Familiarity with modern data tools (dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar) * Curious, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail * Fluent in English and comfortable collaborating across functions Setup * Remote-first across Europe (CET ±2h working hours) * Team of 5 focused on data & engineering excellence * Direct mentorship from senior engineers and exposure to full data lifecycle * Great opportunity to grow into Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer role How to Apply Apply via HiCareer and share a few lines about why this role matches your strengths.
