Job description
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to join our development teams in Lisbon and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable systems. You will work closely with developers, team leads, and product stakeholders to ensure our platforms meet the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
- Define test scope, create test plans, and write clear and detailed test cases.
- Log, track, and verify defects in bug-tracking systems (JIRA or similar).
- Collaborate with developers and team leads to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards within the team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in QA testing.
- Solid understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and standards.
- Experience in testing web-based applications and projects.
- Strong skills in defining test scope, creating test strategies, and executing test plans.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving approach.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar bug-tracking tools.
- Experience writing and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and test plans.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced level of English.
