As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be the trusted partner guiding customers through the full integration journey-from initial analysis to solution design, go-live, and post-launch scaling. Your role is not just about delivering projects on time, but about providing technical leadership, advising on solution scope, and finding creative ways to solve complex challenges. Over time, you may also take on people management responsibilities, mentoring colleagues and contributing to the growth of the team., * Lead partner integrations end-to-end: Manage the full lifecycle of customer implementation, including integration design, testing, delivery, and ongoing scaling support.
- Provide expert technical guidance: Work with customers on the API integration, middlewares, data formats (REST, JSON, XML), best practices, and standards to ensure smooth and scalable integrations.
- Shape solution scope: Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to translate business needs into robust, future-proof technical solutions.
- Think outside the box: Develop innovative approaches and proofs of concept for unique projects and complex integration scenarios.
- Enable customer success: Troubleshoot technical challenges, secure customer commitments. You will have a close relationship with our partners and business development teams to expand our coverage and services with the customers, for existing and new products
- Improve how we work: Contribute to the evolution of internal monitoring, reporting, and operational tools to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Share knowledge and mentor: Be the export of how the customer is integrating with Thunes. Work with an agile team, offering mentoring, training and possibly management to junior members.
- Collaborate globally: Collaborate with the global implementation teams, with occasional international travel as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering Computer Science or equivalent prefered
- 7+ years managing complex technical integration projects in customer-facing roles.
- Solid understanding of Database, APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Experience in Fintech, Payments, or E-commerce, ideally in project management or implementation management position
- Strong ability to engage with both technical stakeholders (e. g. , software engineers) and business teams.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English; French or additional European/African languages are a strong plus.
- A motivated, structured self-starter with leadership potential and the ability to inspire others across global teams.
