Sap Finance Control Consultant

At MPM we are seeking an experienced SAP CO-PC (Product Costing) Consultant to join our SAP Finance & Controlling team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) , with a focus on Product Cost Planning (PCP), Cost Object Controlling, Actual Costing, and Material Ledger . This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support solutions that optimize product costing, profitability analysis, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP CO-PC solutions.

• Configure, test, and support SAP Product Costing , Cost Object Controlling , and Material Ledger .

• Implement and optimize processes for standard cost estimation, actual costing, variance analysis, and cost component splits .

• Support integration with SAP MM, PP, FI, and SD modules for end-to-end product costing scenarios.

• Provide expertise in Material Ledger actual costing and parallel valuations .

• Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate cost transparency and reporting.

• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.

• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and provide end-user support.

• Assist with system upgrades, testing, and migration activities.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and reporting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

• 5+ years of SAP CO experience , with at least 3+ years in CO-PC (Product Costing) .

• Strong knowledge of:

• Product Cost Planning (standard & actual costing)

• Cost Object Controlling (production orders, process orders, sales order costing)

• Material Ledger (actual costing, multiple valuations/currencies)

• Variance calculation and settlement

• Good understanding of integration with MM (materials management), PP (production planning), and FI (financial accounting) .

• Experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and support.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills to engage with finance and operations stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

• SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling experience (esp. Universal Journal integration ).

• Exposure to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) .

• Experience in SAP Fiori apps for Controlling .

• Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting or advanced analytics tools.

• Professional certification in SAP CO or S/4HANA Finance.

Term:

• 6-12 month initial contract with extensions
• Methodology: Independent Contractor
• Salary: In USD/EUR
• Location: 2 days onsite per week in Madrid - 3 days home office.
