Job description
· Design and curate the reporting library structure, defining standardized metrics, KPIs, and data product classification frameworks
· Establish metadata standards and documentation processes that ensure data assets are discoverable and properly governed
· Evaluate and onboard new data assets into the library, performing profiling and quality assessments
· Communicate with a variety of stakeholders, translating between business requirements and technology and ensuring the implementation aligns with metadata and cataloging goals
· Support in designing quality checks and monitoring as well as support the implementation of access and self-service workflows
· Support enablement of stakeholders by documenting tagging rules, certification criteria, and common issues and contributing to onboarding materials
· Understand our stakeholder's needs and support in the implementation of a UX layer for the product
· Maintain a high standard and quality of the product
Requirements
· Degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or comparable qualification.
· 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, BI, or related fields.
· Proven experience with data cataloguing technologies and processes, including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and asset classification
· Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, data quality assessment techniques, and governance framework implementation
· Experience in stakeholder management and translating business requirements into analytical specifications and governance frameworks
· Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to design scalable processes for enterprise data environments
· Plus: Advanced technical skills including SQL (BigQuery, Teradata), Python, Looker/BI tools, backend development and UX development skills, or BI implementation experience
· Team-oriented, proactive, solution-driven mindset with an agile working style.
· Excellent English skills; German is a plus.
