Job description
- Design, build, install, test, and maintain highly scalable and reliable data management systems
- Ensure technical solutions align with business requirements and follow industry best practices
- Integrate and re-engineer emerging data and software technologies into existing data stacks
- Define and document standardized processes for data mining, modeling, and production
- Use tools like Python, SQL, Spark, and Airflow to connect and automate data systems
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance data reliability, efficiency, and quality

Requirements
- 2-3y of proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role
- Proficiency with the Apache ecosystem: Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Airflow
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services: Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, S3
- Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and/or Databricks
- Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Scala
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- AWS Cloud Practitioner, Big Data, or Data Analytics certification is a plus
- Knowledge of SnapLogic or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight) is a plus
