Scope & Focus (2025) * Developer productivity enhancements (e.g. local env setup, monorepo tooling, custom CLI). * Design and development unification (Design System). * Infrastructure enablement (hosting improvements, CI/CD). * Security and compliance facilitation (auth, DB anonymization). What We're Looking For * Develop and maintain Expo apps for iOS and Android. * Optimize mobile performance, UX and offline capabilities. * Contribute to mobile platform foundations and dev practices. * Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to implement pixel-perfect experiences. * Mentor engineers and lead crews. * Participate in hiring and shape the technical assessment process. Qualifications & Fit * Strong experience with React Native (2+ years preferred) or willingness to work with React Native & Expo. * Deep knowledge of iOS and Android platform specifics & app deployment. * Experience building member/consumer-facing apps at scale. * Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem. Native module development (Objective-C/Swift, Java/Kotlin) a plus. * Skilled in mobile performance optimization with platform-specific solutions. * Comfortable with mobile testing frameworks and debugging tools. * Self-starting, entrepreneurial and humble. * Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning and teaching. * Fluent in English (French not required).
