Support cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy

Gather and catalog functional, and non-functional (quality attributes and constraints) requirements for stakeholder requests

Participate in pre-sales activities as a technical architect and be ready to advocate a solution proposal

Lead the development of new capabilities or service offerings within SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP SaaS, including the design and deployment of integrated end-to-end solutions
-
As part of the application development team, take the lead in solving technical challenges with industry best practices
-
Be ready to engage with hands-on programming for front-end and/or back-end
-
Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design

Advise on SAP CIO Guides (On-premises / Cloud / Hybrid), Integration Solution Advisory Methodology (ISA-M), Application Extension Methodology, RISE/GROW with SAP, SAP Data and Analytics Advisory Methodology

Estimate work efforts relating to SAP development, Basis, DevOps activities, and technical architecture components

Create solution architecture documentation, work/feature-breakdown structure document, and other related artifacts with deep technical details What You Have

Understanding of IT architecture best practices and body of knowledge (BoK) such as TOGAF, ITABoK, BTABoK, DMBoK, and others

Knowledge of SAP best practices and methodologies, including SAP Human-Centered Approach to Innovation, SAP Activate Methodology, RISE/GROW with SAP, SAP Golden Path for SAP BTP, SAP Integration Solution Advisory Methodology, SAP Enterprise Architecture Methodology, SAP Data and Analytics Advisory Methodology

Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and SaaS Extensibility (In-App, On-Stack, and Side-by-Side)

Knowledge of end-to-end business processes such as Idea to Market, Source to Pay, Plan to Fulfill, Lead to Cash, Recruit to Retire, Governance, and Finance

Familiarity with architectural styles and patterns, including Monolith, Layered Architecture, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Actor/Module-Based Architecture

Experience in SAP Technical Architecture Modeling (TAM) and Architecture Concept Document, SAP BTP Architecture modeling

Competency in programming languages such as ABAP, SQL, Java, JavaScript (Node.js, TypeScript), Groovy, XSLT

Knowledge of programming models/frameworks like SAP Cloud Application Programming Model, ABAP RESTful Programming Model, SAP Fiori Elements, and SAP Business Object Programming Framework

Understanding and experience with SAP BTP services/capabilities, including SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, SAP BTP Connectivity, SAP Cloud Identity Services, Integration Suite, SAP Build Work-Zone/Central Launchpad, and SAP (Advanced) Event Mesh

Expertise in designing and developing Web-Services (REST, SOAP, WebAPI) and deploying them in various environments

Proficiency in the core URI capabilities of OData, including designing, developing, and deploying OData services Nice to have
