Job description
As the Responsible AI Manager - Emerging Technologies, you will architect and operationalize governance frameworks that ensure the responsible, secure, and business value-aligned use of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in enabling innovation while safeguarding trust, compliance, and strategic alignment in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
You will work cross-functionally with IT, Digital, Legal, Compliance, Cybersecurity, and Business Units to embed governance into the full lifecycle of AI and emerging tech-from ideation to decommissioning-ensuring alignment with global regulations and enterprise risk frameworks., Governance Strategy & Framework Development

Collaboratively design and implement scalable, adaptable, enterprise-wide governance frameworks for Responsible AI and emerging technologies.

Framework should cover full lifecycle (intake to decommissioning) and is aligned with enterprise governance principles.

Align governance with global standards and regulations.

Lead the development of policies, principles, and operating models that balance innovation with risk mitigation. Risk Management & Compliance

Establish and Conduct AI-specific risk assessments and develop tiered risk models for use cases. Align with internal policies and compliance requirements for all emerging technologies.

Establish controls for bias, explainability, privacy, IP protection, and model robustness.

Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure regulatory readiness and auditability. Lifecycle Governance & Oversight

Integrate governance checkpoints into the AI/tech lifecycle (e.g., intake, design, testing, deployment, monitoring). Focus on continuous integration, ongoing monitoring, and adaptive governance

Maintain model registries, documentation standards, and assurance mechanisms.

Monitor key risk indicators (e.g., model drift, hallucination, fairness metrics) and drive continuous improvement. Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement

Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on Responsible AI and emerging tech governance.

Lead governance councils or working groups to evaluate and prioritize initiatives.

Develop training, awareness, and change management programs to build a culture of responsible innovation. Embed RAI governance into demand intake, solution delivery, and monitoring processes Strategic Foresight & Innovation Enablement

Track emerging technologies and assess their governance implications.

Partner with innovation teams to establish and ensure responsible experimentation and scaling. Establish on robust testing protocols for generative AI and agentic systems
Requirements
Required:

5+ years in IT governance, risk management, or emerging technology strategy

Deep understanding of AI/ML systems, data governance, and regulatory landscapes

Experience operationalizing governance frameworks in complex, global environments. Experience with enterprise-wide framework development. Experience with cross-team collaborative advisory projects

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience presenting to senior leaders and larger groups

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Preferred:

Experience in manufacturing, industrial IoT, or operational technology.

Familiarity with ML Ops, model risk management, and AI assurance tools.

Certifications such as CRISC, CIPP, or Responsible AI credentials.
