As our first dedicated product designer, you'll own the end-to-end user experience across web and mobile, turning complex, high-stakes workflows into delightfully simple interactions.
Tasks
Discover & define
- Talk to users, dig into metrics and run usability tests to uncover real pains
- Frame scenarios and success metrics that matter (MTTR, alert fatigue, NPS)
Design & develop
- Craft low- to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes in your preferred tool
- Evolve and govern ilert's cross-platform design system (Web + Mobile)
- Balance clarity and density in data-rich dashboards and timeline views
Deliver & iterate
- Hand off pixel-perfect specs and pair with engineers in GitHub & Storybook
- Validate releases with A/B tests and continuous user feedback loops
- Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance best practices, * Focus > meetings - We time-box syncs, favour async docs and protect maker time |

Requirements
- 3+ years designing production SaaS interfaces end-to-end
- Portfolio that proves user-centric thinking, visual craft and shipped impact
- Mastery of Figma (auto-layout, variants, tokens) and basic motion/animation
- Hands-on with design systems, component libraries and responsive layouts
- Fluency in English (our working language); German is a bonus
- Solid grasp of HTML/CSS limits and possibilities - enough to speak dev
