Job description
We are seeking for a Frontend Engineer to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will need to be proficient in React, REST APIs and CI/CD. Knowledge on GeoServer is valuable. We're looking for a minimum of 2 years of experience.
You will be participating in very important projects, creating solutions at the highest standards of safety, performance, and compliance.
Could you be the Frontend Engineer that we're looking for?
What will be your task?
- Select and implement suitable technologies for Web-based HMI solutions, enhancing and refining the existing prototype.
- Implement frontend integration with RESTful APIs and backend services, seamless collaboration between frontend and backend teams.
- Review the current map server configuration, integrate dynamic maps into the prototype, and establish clear procedures for importing and managing map data.
- Design, set up, and document the software development environment, including build servers, binary repositories, and CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify and evaluate middleware components and solutions for message queuing and persistent data management.
- Develop prototypes to assess performance within a containerised environment.
- Support middleware selection by comparing identified solutions in terms of cost, performance, capabilities, and infrastructure requirements.
- Actively participate in coding and development tasks, building complex features and components. Write clean, maintainable code while setting quality standards through example and contributing to critical project deliverables.
- Perform unit and integration testing activities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unit testing?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Engineering degree in Computer Science, or related field (master's preferred).
- German national
- Fluency in German and English (other languages are a plus).
