Job description

  • manage and monitor all installed infrastructure and systems
  • install, configure, test and manage operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • proactively ensure the highest levels of network and infrastructure availability
  • monitor and test application performance to identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and work with developers to implement fixes
  • manage security, backup and redundancy strategies
  • write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce human intervention time on tasks
  • contribute to the design of information and operational support systems
  • provide Level 2 and Level 3 support
  • liaise with clients, vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * a bachelor's or master's degree in IT, engineering or a related field

  • proven experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux and Windows environments
  • strong knowledge of cloud environments, ideally AWS
  • experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g. VMware, VirtualBox)
  • good understanding of monitoring systems
  • solid scripting skills (shell, Perl, Ruby, Python…)
  • a strong grasp of network principles (OSI model, TCP/IP)
  • ability to quickly absorb technical and security procedures
  • a professional appearance and attitude - you are Equans' ambassador at the client site
  • a valid category B driving licence
  • fluency in French and a working knowledge of English
