Development, provision, and maintenance of BI and GIS data products as well as QPIs in PowerBI dashboards and our WebGIS for internal and external users

Providing information and delivering complex GIS and BI services

Administration and maintenance of GIS systems, including the introduction of new technologies, specialized software, and workflows in the field of geoinformation

Support in the creation, maintenance, and updating of utility documentation in GIS and ERP for all sectors (electricity, communication, heat)

Participation in asset information strategy, target network concepts, market observation of new technologies, as well as involvement in expert committees and innovation groups

Optimization and further development of the applications used, data modeling

First- & second-level support for WebGIS and PowerBI
-
Responsible for the practical training of geomatics apprentices EFZ in the GIS area
Requirements
- Degree in Geoinformatics, Geography, or related field.
- Experience with GIS systems and BI tools.
- Strong communication and analytical skills required., * You have a tertiary level degree (FH, HF or university) in geoinformatics, geography, data sciences, or an equivalent education with proven professional experience in GIS/BI
- You bring professional experience in at least two of the following areas: data management (e.g., with FME), use of GIS systems (e.g., Smallworld, QGIS or comparable solutions) as well as BI tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik)
- Technical know-how in databases (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is an advantage
- You work analytically, solution-oriented, and independently - even with complex issues or demanding conditions
- You are open to the topic of practical trainer and have experience in mentoring apprentices
- Furthermore, you bring strong communication skills, teamwork, and customer orientation
- Additionally, your confident appearance includes professional moderation skills that allow you to lead smaller projects
