Senior Software Engineer / Web Software Engineer (Angular/Java)

• Develop and enhance our eCommerce platform for both B2C and B2B.
• Drive design and implementation using Angular and Java technologies.
• Collaborate in an agile team to ensure high-quality software solutions., Depending on suitability and preference, you will work either as a Senior Software Engineer or as a Web Software Engineer - with different focuses, but in the same strong team.
• You continuously develop our eCommerce platform - the heart of our brand presence, the B2C webshop, and our B2B business portal
• You drive the design and implementation of our scalable, robust eCommerce platform in Angular (SAP Spartacus) and Java (Spring / SAP Commerce Cloud)
• You help shape the architecture of our modern platform - based on a REST backend and an Angular-based SPA frontend
• You ensure the highest quality and security standards through clean software design, automated tests, lean documentation, and the courage for continuous improvement
• You work in an agile Scrum team with a true DevOps mindset and take responsibility throughout the entire lifecycle - from the idea to stable operation
• You work closely with architects and product owners in a SAFe environment
• You monitor new technologies and purposefully integrate them into our web landscape to drive innovation, V-ZUG Software Engineering is a division within the Technology Department. In close collaboration with innovation development, product management, IT, production, and other departments, we are responsible for the software of our household appliances in the kitchen and textile sectors. • Experience in Java and modern Typescript frameworks like Angular required.
• Strong knowledge of software development and eCommerce platforms.
• Proficient in both English and German for effective communication., * You have solid knowledge in software development with Java (Spring) as well as modern TypeScript frameworks, ideally Angular
• You bring experience in web development - ideally you have already worked with eCommerce platforms
• You have experience in the DevOps environment and can competently support both introduction, further development, and stable operation
• You are interested in modern web technologies and are willing to familiarize yourself with new topics
• You have completed IT training (EFZ or equivalent) or ideally a degree in computer science or a similar technical field, complemented by several years of professional experience
• You work result-oriented, pay attention to the highest quality, and are characterized by strong implementation skills
• You can communicate very well in both German and English - orally and in writing

Advantageous for the focus as Senior Software Engineer:

• If you have experience with SAP Commerce / Hybris, SAP Spartacus, and Solr, this is a clear advantage
