At QuantumDiamonds, we turn quantum physics into real-world impact. As Software Team Lead for our quantum sensing software platform, you will play a dual role: leading a cross-functional team of backend and frontend engineers while shaping the product vision and roadmap for our cutting-edge microscopy software.
Working closely with our Software Architect, other Product Owners, and stakeholders across hardware, machine learning, and data science, you'll ensure we deliver high-quality, user-centric software that powers our quantum sensing tools. Your mission: bridge business and technology, inspire your team, and translate customer needs into impactful features that push the limits of what's measurable., * Own the product vision and roadmap for our quantum sensing software platform, aligning business value with technical feasibility.
- Lead and empower a team of backend and frontend engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
- Work closely with the Software Architect to ensure scalable, high-quality technical solutions without sacrificing delivery speed.
- Our technology stack includes C++ and Python, with UI development in Qt and CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with other Product Owners to manage dependencies and ensure cross-product alignment.
- Translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and well-prioritized backlogs.
- Monitor delivery progress, manage risks, and ensure your team consistently delivers value on time.
- Act as the bridge between engineering, stakeholders, and customers, communicating priorities and results with clarity.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, * 5+ years of experience in software product development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or product ownership role.
- Strong background in managing cross-functional software teams (backend, frontend, or full-stack), ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Proven ability to translate business goals into technical priorities and drive product delivery end to end.
- Experience in backlog management, agile methodologies, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent collaboration skills - able to align with engineers, architects, other POs, and executives.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with scientific software, hardware-in-the-loop systems, or semiconductor tools.
